Purple Cow Print Party Video: Hugh & Seth Talk
I went to this party last week. I’m still breaking down my thoughts on the night. They vary greatly but I’d say it was as interesting as was disappointing, for many different reasons.
One thing that is certain: my unwavering respect for Mr. Godin. Despite our limited engagement, I felt his sincerity is as evident and meaningful in person as it is online.
The video starts and ends abruptly and is dimly lit, but the audio is clear, so in the end you get what matters.
I hope you enjoy it.
In case that wasn’t enough for you, here’s a second one from another attendee. A mix of the night, it’s clearly edited by someone with more technical skill than me.

I have been following Seth Godin’s blog for a while now, brilliant man, but thanks you very much for turning me onto Gapinvoid. I might even change the world, or at least a few of my habits. See what you did.

Holte,
Tee-hee.
If I didn’t already know you loved me, I’d think you were mocking me.
October 14th, 2009 at 11:19 pmYou would have to be an elected official for me to mock you Nicole. I will be interested to hear what was disappointing about the “Hugh and Seth talk” it was a bit chaotic, but it was a party and I did spy a few bottles of something.

Yes, there are huge opportunities – I think most bloggers are hoping to “get discovered” in one way or another. Most of them won’t, but that’s OK – most people don’t become celebrities offline too.
