I find it sad that so many people are depressed about how they look even when they have a partner that finds them very attractive or plenty of people throwing themselves at them. Personally (and maybe this is just because I'm a guy) being attractive serves one purpose: to attract a partner. I now have a girlfriend that I find incredibly beautiful so I don't really care if no-one else finds me attractive and don't care at all why my own sex thinks. I won't "let myself go" but at the same time it just doesn't bother me any more. Great blog and a great post, I’m wholly in agreement. Personally (and maybe this is just because I’m a guy) being attractive serves one purpose: to attract a partner.
